In the bigness, muchness, fullness
of this precious moment
Water trickles gently in the moonlit pool –
a gentle cleansing.
Sky at dusk pulsing with colour
almost beyond imagination.
Raspberries grow lush, bending their canes –
an abundance despite days of continuous cloud and rain.
Train whistle muted by night-time air
sings a prairie lullaby.
A palpable nuanced shift.
From brittle anxiety to pregnant expectancy.
Whispers of magnificent splendor
Emerging in its time.
